How is DemiTour installed on a WooCommerce store?

Every store has its own rules, carriers and payment methods. Guided setup adapts DemiTour to that environment before the portal is presented to customers.

A demonstration grounded in your operation

The first discussion covers your catalogue, countries and current support workflow. We look at frequent return requests, products that need special rules and the solutions you want to offer customers.

The demonstration does not lock you into a standard configuration. DemiTour adapts to the way the brand wants to work, including cases that require tailored development. It identifies the useful scope: size exchanges, other products, gift cards, refunds, store drop-off and label generation by region.

Configuring your brand

The portal uses your name, logo and homepage visual. Content is available in French and English, and language can follow WPML or Polylang depending on the installation. Your return address and support details are also part of the journey.

Rules reflect your policy: eligibility window, seasonal extensions, excluded items, regional charges and any free size-exchange conditions. They can later be updated through the master backoffice without exposing a technical settings page to store staff.

Connecting the tools already in place

We review the shipping and payment extensions used by the store. DemiTour can work with several integrations found in WooCommerce, but actual availability always depends on the versions, contracts and configuration of the individual site.

The validated scope is enabled brand by brand in the master backoffice. Only carriers and payment methods that are genuinely used appear, while the WooCommerce administration remains straightforward for staff.

Concrete test journeys

Before launch, we follow representative requests: a refund, a size exchange, a different product and an international case where relevant. Calculations, emails, created orders and documents are checked in the context of your store.

A test mode can also create clearly identified fictional orders. Payments may be simulated, while a real carrier label can be requested when a contract needs validation. Any shipping costs then remain those of your carrier.

Launch and ongoing operation

Once journeys have been approved, the returns page can be linked from your site and customer communications. Staff process cases from the WordPress dashboard, with a view of requests to inspect and errors requiring action.

DemiTour uses an active licence and can receive new versions through the master backoffice. Initial setup also establishes how to request help when an external integration or unusual case needs investigation.
