Why returns quickly become difficult to track
A return request rarely involves a single action. Staff identify the order, understand the reason, confirm which items are coming back, offer a solution, provide instructions and then process the parcel. When information is split between email, WooCommerce and carrier websites, support teams lose time and customers lack visibility.
Fashion adds another layer of complexity. Sizes, colours, discounted products, alterations and international orders all create specific situations. A generic form is not enough: the journey needs to use the real order and follow the brand’s own rules.
A returns portal inside your store
DemiTour adds a branded portal to your WooCommerce site. Customers find their order, choose the relevant items and give a reason for the return. They then select one of the solutions you have enabled: a new size, another product, a gift card or a refund.
The portal can run in French and English on stores using WPML or Polylang. Amounts remain connected to the original order, including its currency and discounts. Customers can see what they are returning and what will happen next before confirming their request.
Encourage exchanges without hiding refunds
For a clothing brand, an item being too small or too large does not have to mean losing the sale. DemiTour shows available sizes first and can also let customers choose another item from the store. They return to the exchange journey and pay any additional amount immediately.
Store credit and refunds remain clearly available. The brand can apply regional charges, offer selected size exchanges or exclude special products. The journey promotes the most useful outcome while keeping every available choice understandable.
A dashboard that turns requests into actions
Every request reaches WordPress with the customer, items, reason, preferred solution and shipping information. Staff can see the cases to inspect and the alerts that require action, such as a label that was not created or a rejected refund.
After parcel inspection, DemiTour can prepare the next step: a refund through a compatible gateway, a gift card or a replacement order. Actions remain linked to the return case, giving customer support and logistics one shared view.
Setup that follows the way you work
DemiTour is designed and developed by someone who spent ten years as an e-commerce manager for fashion brands. Features therefore start with the problems experienced in daily operations: replacement orders entered twice, missing labels, failed refunds discovered too late and customers having to chase support.
DemiTour does not impose a standard returns policy. Configuration reflects your return windows, fees, regions, exclusions, carriers and payment methods. The solution can be tailored to the behaviour the brand wants instead of forcing its operation into a standard process.
Setup is guided: we review your operation, configure the portal and test the relevant journeys before launch. A demonstration helps establish whether DemiTour fits your catalogue and your team.
